Story Coach
The monthly Story Coach meeting is a time for GSLIS students and faculty to explore the art of storytelling. Whether they have a story they are longing to tell or are wondering what storytelling is all about, participants are invited to bring stories or just their listening ears. Tellers receive thoughtful, constructive, and typically positive feedback on their developing stories and storytelling styles. For information about upcoming Story Coach meetings see our calendar.
Annual Storytelling Festival
The GSLIS Storytelling Festival is a highlight of the spring CCB calendar. This annual night of stories performed by GSLIS students, alumni, and faculty features folktales and original tales that have been carefully selected to create an unforgettable evening of celebration and community. Audience members come for the show and then stay afterwards for the cookies and conversation.
The 2009 Annual Storytelling Festival will be held on April 18th in Room 126 of GSLIS and will begin at 7 PM. Hope to See you there! Feel free to check out the audio files of past Storytelling Festivals.
